Launchpad Bugs is often called malone in code or by Launchpad developers. This is the application responsible for code that handles bugs, filing bugs, bug search, bug watches, external bug tracker integration, bug email, and more.

10.01 (January 2010)

The "Bring the Heat" month. Karl Fogel joins our team, and we have a sprint dedicated to finishing a bug heat implementation.

Progress notes are taken during the bugs team's daily standup (1430 UTC, M-F) and updated each day at that time.

  • Bug #505958, KDE Bugzilla API version check returns tuple, which confuses Launchpad

• Need to follow up and re-submit since PQM queue was cleared
• Working on QA for "checkwatches hammer bugzilla" fix

• Bug 357907, +filebug timeout with large file blobs [In Progress]

• Bug 507474, Updating bug heat takes too long

• Started work using jobs system for +filebug blob processing.
• Has sent out RFC about the best way to calculate bug heat.
• Will file bugs about bug heat calculation work and maybe start hacking on it if there's time.

• Bug 506018, Need a "+patches" view: report lists patches attached to bugs [In Progress]

• Needs to look into planet.launchpad.net images not displaying [In Progress]

• Finished mockups, working on getting feedback via the bug itself.

• Bug 412925, new ajax interface for changing bug statuses is too easy [In Progress]

• Need to get with Barry to document lazr-js (this week)
