We're here to help you hack on Launchpad. If you have questions about any aspect of Launchpad development, or if you're trying to modify Launchpad but are having trouble, please seek us out by any of these means:

• Join the #launchpad-dev IRC channel at irc.freenode.net and ask your questions.

• Ask on the launchpad-dev {_AT_} lists.launchpad.net mailing list. You do not have to be subscribed to post (but feel free to subscribe too).

• Look in the mailing list archives.

• Sit in IRC meetings.

• Check the FAQ.

• Read the API documentation

• If you want to discuss a patch, find the on-call reviewer or ask in #launchpad-reviews.

As you work on Launchpad more, you might work with some of the sub-teams, like Bugs, Translations, Code, Soyuz, Registry, or Foundations. They will be available on the #launchpad-dev IRC channel at irc.freenode.net, as mentioned above. Some teams may have other additional ways you can participate.

• Foundations has more focused discussions on the #launchpad-foundations IRC channel on irc.freenode.net.

If you see something wrong with any of these wiki pages, please just fix it (or if you can't or don't know how to fix it, then contact us by one of the above means). We try to run a newcomer-friendly community; it's okay to ask basic questions and make obvious suggestions. It's also okay to just file a bug.
