Better Privacy checkpoint 2012-02-15

Summary

Hardened bugs and teams

No further actions. This part of the feature is now done!

Manage sharing

Curtis is happy to have three staff working on manage sharing!

Dan has been testing. He did tests with six people on the clickable prototype and is writing up the results.

People are still getting confused. We're going to do one last pass at this UI. Purple will create flat mock-ups, which Huw can review, and then Dan will test those mock-ups. Purple are creating the mock-ups as Huw is already busy.

UI will be workable in the next two weeks, possibly minus searching and filtering. There is a small transition point: we have a hack cin place for owners of projects that have propriertary bugs enabled that lets them see all proprietary bugs in their projet even if they're not subscribed. That's contradictory to the policies, so we know to remove that. Three day period where that'll be gone. We have a workaround in place for the one project that we think will be affected.

Actions

Social private teams

Emailed Curtis with his findings but, by and large, social private teams seems to be working for the use cases that Diogo tested.

Fallout: more an entitlement issue. Steve and Curtis have done two rounds of changes. They have some feature changes they want to release to address concerns of OEM. They need to email stakeholders. There may not be an issue with permission to create PPAs once social private teams are released in a couple of days.

Social teams is now considered DONE!
