Choosing a Version of Bazaar

You are encouraged to run early releases of bzr. There are several choices.

Bazaar offers Ubuntu users three PPAs:

• Official releases are available from https://launchpad.net/~bzr/+archive

• Beta releases are available from https://launchpad.net/~bzr-beta-ppa/+archive

• Nightlies are available from https://launchpad.net/~bzr-nightly-ppa/+archive

If You Are Running Bzr Tip

If you are running the nightly builds, you might want to keep up with more information about what code is landing. You should:

• Read the Bazaar NEWS file.
• If any dependencies have changed, request upgrades to the 'bzr' package in launchpad-dependencies. (Who should be asked?)
• Check that upgrading Bazaar will not make Launchpad Code unusable to users of supported Ubuntu releases.
